What type of events do you service?
We service weddings, graduation parties, birthday parties, bridal showers, private events and just about any other special event you can think of!
Do you provide the alcohol?
Indiana state law prohibits mobile bars from carrying a liquor license; therefore, we are a dry hire mobile bar. The host provides the alcohol and ice and we provide the cups, straws, cocktail napkins, mixers, and garnishments! This allows the host to purchase the alcohol at cost and avoid the markups.
What do you do with the leftover alcohol after the event?
The host keeps all alcohol remaining from the event.
Are you insured?
Yes! The Tipsy Gypsy has general liability and liquor liability insurance.
How far will you travel for events?
The Tipsy Gypsy is based out of Martinsville, Indiana. We will travel within a 60 mile radius at no cost. We charge $2 per mile after that but will service the entire state of Indiana.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes, we require a 50% non-refundable deposit at the day of booking. The final 50% is due 30 days before the event.
What types of drinks do you serve?
If the event is located at a private residence, we can serve it all; customized cocktails and mocktails, beer, wine and seltzers.
If the event is at a public venue, we cannot serve liquor but we can serve customized wine-based cocktails, mocktails, wine, beer and seltzers.
Is there anything else I should know?
Yes, all bartenders have the right to request identification from anyone being serviced at the bar. They also have the right to refuse service. If we believe a person to be intoxicated, we will kindly refuse service. It is against state law to serve alcohol to an intoxicated person and we will not jeopardize our license or permits. If any person becomes aggressive with staff, we reserve the right to immediately end our services. The safety of our staff and the quality of your event is the heart of our business!
